    AGE GROUPS

Our age groups are based on FIBA 3×3 rules. FIBA 3×3 uses different age categories than Australian local competitions and representative basketball i.e. U13 effectively operates as age 13 and under.

  • Under 13 – players born in 2007, 2008 or 2009
  • Under 15 – players born in 2005 or 2006
  • Under 18 – players born in 2002, 2003 or 2004
  • Senior – open to anyone over the age of 16
  • FIBA 3×3 Rankings

  • All players will receive FIBA 3×3 ranking points from this event, however, they will need to set up a FIBA 3×3 player profile if they don’t already have one. Players can register for a FIBA profile here and registration is free.
  • Players can register their 3×3 profile at the own convenience but players must be registered before the day of their tournament.
  • The purpose of FIBA 3×3 ranking points is to track your progress as a 3×3 player and these ranking points also allow players to qualify for certain elite tournaments as they get older.
  • Players 13 or younger can only be registered with a nickname so if players from your team have registered for a FIBA 3×3 player profile please send me their nickname and DOB so I can add them to the event.
  • HOW DO I SIGN UP?

You can register your team here. If you have any questions, you can email us at: info@theuleague.org.au

Team registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis.
